Re: Public Edit Ep.2 - Feedback & Advice
The camera placement and renders are good, too much of the shake/zoom effect, kinda nauseating. I bet you'll get a lot of crap for that music choice, too loud and only a few will like the genre. Some of the riding looked kinda goony also, but I'm trying to be objective and not too harsh in criticism. I didn't see episode 1, but maybe in episode 3 you'll try to find some music that appeals to more people and reduce the crazy thump/zoom thing. That's the best I can do for a critique. Keep digging!

My best effort was kind of a test vid that I never followed up on lol, so you're already doing better than I am! I just used Windows Movie Maker. Static cameras and basic cuts..hehe. Go man go! Show me how it's done!

I just looked again at your vid and I think all you need is to try to exclude crashes unless you intend to show a comeback or something. The bump thing is actually cool if kept to 1 segment or so. I also think the music should be based on who you want to impress. It's hard to be truly neutral when judging, lol. I'm not really qualified to judge MXS vids, per se. Our best videographer MXJeff is on to greener pastures these days.
