First question is, Is this worth it?
Second question is, Would this run a 40 man gate on a High detailed national such as millville, or washougal without any problems? and Would you buy it as a main computer?

I have a GTX 670 and sometimes I drop down to 90 FPS at Millville w/ max graphics during the rF races.

It could probably run it at normal settings is my guess.

Difference between a GTX and a GT = huge performance gap. This cards are simply not used for any sort of gaming, they do help but not enough to be worth a gaming card. The i5 might be worth it but because its 2 cores it either means its an i3 or an old i5 so you might want more info on that. If he gives you a fresh 1TB HD with W7 that'd be nice but if this is a used PC and he just hands it down the line as is I wouldn't. The PSU isn't much, figure out what brand, so your upgrades to your GPU isn't a wide variety but you could. The reason the brand is important is you don't want some generic or cheap PSU ever hitting 90%+ usage or bad things will happen. Also, getting a used key/mouse isn't really a selling point, you can buy a new Logitech combo for $20. Overall no I wouldn't. Way to many if's and to really be worth it you will be putting in another $300.

What should look for in a computer to be sure that I will be fine on a 40 man gate?

Good CPU. i5 or i7. You could go with a high end AMD, but they are power hungry and hot.
This game utilizes only one core of your CPU, so be sure whatever you do get, it has a high clock (GHz).

As far as GPU, you could get by with a GTX470-80 or GTX570-80. Any of those 4 cards can be had for relatively cheap, just make sure you buy the variant with the most Vram. (all those tasty skins)
Honestly though, the GPU is dramatically less important than the CPU in this game.

Those are the major performance factors.
Everything else besides the Power Supply can be cheap.
Of course, it doesn't mean that better parts aren't better parts, though.
So I'd make sure you had some decent RAM (Speed and Density), but nothing groundbreaking is needed.
Good luck.

Wait... If yours only would drop to 90 at millville with a 670, how come my 770 get less fps than that maxed out? liike 50-90? Is my cpu really bottlenecking that hard? its an amd fx-6200.

If you download all the skins and wants amazing graphics with a full gate on a high res track just get gear above average. So I would expect you should think about a system around 1000,-. But just to have fun and play the game you could go with the system you posted. Maxing out settings means getting very expensive parts on a computer. Especially with all those great skins that are available for MX simulator

processor is kind of slow, being a duel core and all, however everything else looks good.
