Re: Computer for mx sim
You will definitely need a better Video Card. I would suggest a 4gb GTX 760, 770, R9 290, or a 3gb R9 280x. At least to handle a full gate.

It will run pretty good for like 20 people, but only having 1 gb of virtual ram on your graphics card is really going to hold you back trying to load in the textures of 40 people.

No. That card you have has 1gb of virtual memory on it. Whenever I load in on a 40 man gate for rf, I use upwards of 2gb of texture memory.

He's talking about his RAM in his computer, and no, you can only set GPU memory to MXSim, as far as I know. and a GTX 650 would still run low settings for about 25-30 people. The video ram in the card is what you really needJeremy150 wrote:No. That card you have has 1gb of virtual memory on it. Could I lower settings because my old computer had integrated graphics and was a 2001 acre aspire and it could almost run a 40 man gate with all the setting at 1 and 2 (could I do high fps 40 man gate??))

Re: Computer for mx sim
It would, but you would have to use low settings. Trust me, save up and get a good computer the 1st time. Future-proofing is great. And someone can correct me, but I think the GTX 650 would bottleneck the i5.
What's your budget?
