How to change the Deadzone on the Xbox360 controller?

Hi can anyone help me, How to change the Deadzone on the Xbox360 controller? Even if i barely touch the left stick the steering moves. And makes it really hard to drive sometimes. I dont want it to be so sensitive.

left_key=(0.000000,-1.000000)XBOX360ForWindows(Controller) axis 0
right_key=(0.000000,1.000000)XBOX360ForWindows(Controller) axis 0

How do i edit this?

man ive tried this a million different times and i can never get it quite right. always pulls to one way pretty bad. i have put in exactly what u said and it favors to the left quite a bit. im stumped...

make sure u have the top number as a negative and the bottom as a positive. It sounds like you have them both as the same number.

did you put the negative infront of the 1? left_key=(-0.100000,-1.000000)

wow. thanks fellas. u have no idea on how long this has been driving me nuts lol. pathetic that i couldnt figure that out. this makes using the free roam camera so much easier lol.

it changes how the game reads the controller. it will not effect it on anything else but mxsim
