How to change the Deadzone on the Xbox360 controller?

I have looked at a all post to sort the dead zone and i have done what it told me to do but my bike still moves to the right slowly by its self HELP!!! its not my controller as it only does it on mx sim

You have to edit the config file to do it. Find the lines for left_key and right_key and increase the magnitude of the first number.

IMO you'd be better off calibrating the controller since a big dead zone will make it less responsive.

how do i go about doing so ? i read an old post about this in like 2008 and did all it told me to in the config but did not seem to help at all

Click Start, click Run, type joy.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK. In the Game Controllers window, click Gamepad, and then click Properties. Click the Settings tab, and then click Calibrate. Follow the steps in the Device Calibration Wizard. !
