Riding Technique Help...My seat bounce
I can get a good seat bounce randomly. Im not sure what I do wrong, if its timing or technique. Ive watched Kellens video tutorial many times too. Is the forward motion after pulling back just to keep from being nose high or does it actually effect the pop? I might also be really over thinking it, I just dont know.
Im no video editor so sorry that this is lame but for reference maybe someone can spot my mistake?

Looks to me like you're just flipping the stick back. For me if it is a big jump that is hard to get over all the way, I will do like a forward back and then back to forward again to bring the front end down. You are kind of doing a half pre load rather then a full one as far as I can see.

Re: Riding Technique Help...My seat bounce
im by no means a pro, but also after watching kellens video i found that a decent way is a good flick back and forward to level out. also some times coming out of a corner imagine your jumping one way but point the nose the other way. sort of oppoing into it.that usually gives a good pop. its not a tried and tested theory but ive done it and it works more than a conventional seat bounce at times. plus it looks cool as fuck
hope that helps.

Ok thanks, that's something Ive been questioning myself on regarding my control setup. I cant shift and control forward/back at the same time with it the way it is. Guess I better try changing at least my upshift button to something else.ROSE822 wrote:normally what i do is i go up a gear so you get the traction which all help

Normally what you do is call me on skype complaining about trackmaking sucks and you just started on another track. Then the same procedure all week. Kidding aside, you should play more sim.ROSE822 wrote:normally what i do is i go up a gear so you get the traction which all help

Re: Riding Technique Help...My seat bounce
Lower your forward damping a little bit, like 3-5 units, and raise your forward spring like 5-8 units, you should clear that no problem.
You are doing everything right but you are overriding your setup, its clear as day. Give yourself more room and open it up a little bit.

Ok thanks I'll try that.
