This lowers the knockout recovery time to 5 seconds. Also, there is now an option in the graphics setup menu to not hide the rider's arms in the 1st person view.

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

Yeah 5 seconds is way better then 20, thank you. I still prefer to not have it but this is much more tolerable.

Thanks jlv I really like it .............Are you working on the Rider actually falling off the bike?
I like the black out effect its like you close your eyes a sec or something. The first person view is way better also
Great update

I had to keep the camera low enough to keep the bars in view. If you can't see the bars you sort of lose your feel for what the bike's doing.mulishatroop88 wrote:nice i like the armshaha

No, I'm going to take a shot at better rider movement first (i.e. rider lean).Motoboss wrote:Thanks jlv I really like it .............Are you working on the Rider actually falling off the bike?
Does he have to run back to the bike after he falls off? That could be a bit of a project.

just make it for now, that when he crashes, it does a fade to black like he's blacking out, then, when he opens his eyes, he's back on the bike ready to ride.

Re: 2008-06-21 snapshot
But what will the other riders see? Should he just teleport back to the bike?

Re: 2008-06-21 snapshot
I love the fact that now if I grab too much front brake I go over the bars but can you make it so we can change the brake torque for the front and back brakes seperately? Right now I feel like when I set the front to the right torque the rear locks up too quick.
Thanks, and great job.

Re: 2008-06-21 snapshot
they would just see him fall off, then snap back on ready to ride. or possibly float back to the bike and into the right spot

Re: 2008-06-21 snapshot
Oh yes!!!! Even though the hands look a bit dodgy, its still 100x better than without hands. And its much better with the 5 second blackout. Thanks JLV
