Good PC?

Post by danielcito672 »

I've been playing sim on my laptop without a controller for some time now, and finally I'll be able to get a PC and controller to play sim. I've been doing a ton of research on a budget ($500ish) pc and I stumbled on this... https://www.amazon.com/Periphio-Gaming- ... B08127W426 Will this pc be able to smoothly run most custom tracks?

It doesnt specify the CPU, but assuming its a 4th gen i5 or better it should shred sim. You can find similar systems much cheaper on your local classifieds though.

I still wouldnt buy it without knowing the generation. Look at reviews see if you can find out what cpu it has.

Just found out it has a 2nd gen i5. Is that a deal breaker? Or can it still run most custom tracks?

Not even worth it, they won't show exactly what the cpu is so could be a really good or a really bad i5 and you wouldn't know until after getting it. Not only that, that 8gb of ram that you are seeing is ddr3 and not ddr4...could find a pc with a i7, 16gb ddr4 ram, and a 1070 or higher on Facebook Marketplace for around this exact price.
