what you want to do is simply turn off arcade, set the stability slider in the bike setup menu to 90. set stop wheelies to front only, and anti lock for both front and rear.
after that just start practicing, at first it is going to be very hard but after an hour of riding around it should start to feel better.
keep practicing until you can ride a few laps consistently and then work your stability 10 points down and start the process over.
until you're at about 15 stability, after that you might want to fine tune the advanced settings.
main thing to remember is that it takes time, patience is a virtue
took me about 2 months to ride with the regular riders
I still cant keep up with the fast guys though. and i don't think i ever will.
I highly recommend getting a controller.
Like an xbox360 controller, you can get them wired, or you can get a wireless kit for the pc, i think the wired controllers are a bit cheaper at about 35-40$.
you can just plug it in(wait for the driver to install, or install it manually), startup MXS and assign the right buttons to the controlls.
the little thumb sticks really make steering easier and the analog triggers are great for throttle control.
hope that helps
