Mac Version

Post by scottgrubb#99 »

I think that there should be a mac version. So people like me do not have to run bootcamp so that they can play.

I agree...hopefully JLV has been working on this, although I know he's been quite busy with the shaders I really think a Mac version would bring on a whole new bunch of customers..

Well, Bootcamp is an OSX program to install Windows on your Mac, not the other way around. I'm pretty sure you could get some sort of Virtual Machine to run it, but if you're getting it to run iMovie, I would suggest not to. iMovie is the Windows Movie Maker equivalent for OSX...if you want a decent editing suite, learn FCP7. It's pretty much the industry standard.

I know it's the Windows Movie Maker of Mac. That's why I liked it!
It would have just been something that I know how to use. I've only ever made 2 MXS videos, so I wouldn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, or however much, on FCP.

Your computer has to have compatible hardware because macs are designed to work on a certain chipset and graphics card.

The Holy Grail of making most PCs into a system that can run OS X Natively!
