Id love a script to be able to export whole tracks from max. Theres alot of possiblities when you include max in the process of making tracks.

yes, disp as well. You could make ruts "curl" over, caves(Track in a cave, hmmm), cliffs, optimize the disp. even, and over all have a better enviroment.

As good as that would be, how would you texture it? It would kill most computers as well, as it would be pretty high poly

The question isn't how would you texture it, its how could you possibly decide how to texture it with all the available options...lol. As for it being too high poly for the average joe, well the game needs a major graphical overhaul anyways. It maxes out at 125fps, and usually online w/ 8 riders I'll run it at between 60 and 80fps. I play some other games that look 10x better, have all the shader support, dynamic shadows etc where I get over 200fps in a pack of cars. Something tells me that MXS is more behind the 8 ball in the GFX department than in any other area.DJ wrote:As good as that would be, how would you texture it? ok well i didn't read all 63 pages so idk if this has been said but, i cant for the life of me run without the arcade physics mostly because when you go through a corner the bike lays over and when you go off a jump it just seems like the bike whats to nose in. so maybe make it a bit more stable because last i check bikes don't nose in like that or fall over in every corner. i know most or all of you guys have it down but don't you think that would be a good idea?

I mean, there isn't an actual model for that, so in some way, shape or form, you would have to make a black/white picture for it. But editing for general terrain would be cool, just I don't see having two points on top of each other being possible.

my pivots just messed up when i passed the Kx from max to blender and that was boring to fix lol

one leaning thing i would like to see. If you could make the rider lean a bit before he turns he's bike or lean at the same time he turns. perhaps just turn the bike first before him'self turning down. here's a pretty good helmetcam showing what i mean. how he leans with the bike and its not stiff like in mxsim. it would also be great for the whips and scrubs.

I'm sure the things I'm about to suggest have been said multiple times but I'm obviously not going to read this whole thread.
1. Speedometer- I know most dirt bikes don't have them but I usually ride with my gps so I usually know how fast I'm going.
2. Dumb down the editor. I don't know anything about Windows. I'd like to see a more pick a part style. i.e. drag and drop steel ramps.
3. More realistic sound. I know JLV has been working on this but the four strokes still sound like 250's.
4. 450's nuff said.
5. I want to get up on my tank stick my foot down and blast through corners. Right now it feels like I'm playing tourist trophy but with jumps.
Thats about all I can think of as far as the game goes. Keep up the amazing work. This is by far the best motocross game out there.

Re 1): Games name is Motocross Simulator. I don't think anyone would have a use for having a GPS whilst racing. Maybe a speedo for the enduro bikes though
