Canadian Nationals

Post by Ddavis »

A replica of the Canadian nationals would be sick! Tracks up there are sandy and pretty gnarly and it'd give the Canadians something to go after! I'm not familiar with the tracks up there but they usually look pretty good.

**presses magical make tracks button

Honestly, it's tough enough to do US nats and GPs, there is wayyyy less coverage/reference for Canada.

If someone tackles it, good luck and I would race it.

Well yeah Chris I'm not asking rF or EMF to host it and make all of the tracks, but if anybody is interested in making the tracks who is familiar with the layouts and isn't busy making tracks for rF or the Grand Prix's then hell yeah make it happen. If I had any idea how to use the editor I'd tackle it head on but I have no idea how to do anything track related on sim.

Even if they aren't replicas but sandy style tracks like the Canadian nats, just make it the "Canadian" Nationals.

Until all the same people that race US nats and GPs show up and race the Canadian nationals as well.

I don't know where you get this "sandy tracks" idea, we have 1 out of 9 that's actually sandy. Every other one except 1 or 2 is hard packed dirt. I thought about doing the 4 close to me but I'm too lazy.

Im on your page. No clue what he means when he says sandy tracks. Aint no sand up here, or at least not what you would think. we have sand tracks but most of it is all hard base. Sand on top with hard base. Nothing like some European tracks. Best we got is kinda like modern day Southwick. The most common track here is all rocks. rocks rocks rocks.

Nice on, Alex.

I'm not familiar with the Canadian tracks, I was just basing that off the Pulp podcast where Matthes said the majority of the tracks are sand.
