I'd put this at the very most bottom of things to do to the game.

wouldnt it be cool as hell to throw a double handed fist pump over the finish after victory, or even a look back as you pass someone on the tripple? those things make online gaming funner!!

maybe guys, back off the idea of total fmx mode and restrain the idea to just add in air animations and a in air animations editor wich will plain and simply make mxs more fun and stylish. no need for fmx crap like scoring or comps or tracks, the fmx die hard community will do all that.
anyone remember an animation editor for mcm2 and unleashed called sik trixs??? Laurie at twised dirt made this cool app which allowed you to make your own freestyle animations. I loved it and had mine loaded with kevin windham whips and james stewert scrubs ect for unleashed.
laurie at TwistedDirt might even be interested in helping jlv port it over for use in mxs. hes still at it, tweeking games like reflex.

but being a sim id constrain it to no bike movements, just rider.

My 2 cents on the topic, FMX is not my cup of tea and really, i do not really feel like it would add to the game. At all, however, as Ddavis mentioned, a nac-nac, fist bump or similar could be a fun addition but really not make that big of a difference. not really something high on the list tho.
