There are just as many bike goons as quad goons. Remember that way more trail bikes are sold than motocross bikes, and many legit trail and off-road riders ride motocross bikes.

If they let quads go out on the track before you, they ruin all of the lines with their powersliding. I can see where that sparks the relationship that the motocross riders have towards quad riders. Not so much about gooning, since there are definitely those same kids wearing jeans riding dirt bikes. By me tracks don't run quads on the same day as bikes so it isn't an issue.

I'm gonna say this right now, Chad Wienen is a bad dude on a quad. At monster mountain a few years back he was there and running with the fastest guys on bikes there. And he does rip on a bike too. But yes, the main source of hate to quads is the group of people that go out to every track thinking they're the biggest badasses ever just going two miles an hour holding it WFO powersliding in the corners. We have our goons too though, I just think quads have a higher goon-to-good rider ratio.

You guys are aware that LL is a Pro national and they cut the track shorter for the quads? That they do the lines that most 65's are doing? They double the 10 commandments, the laptimes are comparable to the B class running a full track. They may be fast but they aren't nearly as fast as guys on two wheels.

A quad is different from an MX bike, so they're obviously going to take different lines. Plus, Loretta's is hardly a wide enough track for a quad national. I'm just tired of people hating on quads for no reason other than that Brotocross does.
