Everyone is saying they don't want their bike blowing up. It's called Mx SIMULATOR. In real life, if you are running the limiter all the time, it's gonna blow up. Also I think it's a good idea to be able to rebuild a motor. It would be a good idea.

If you had to choose between bikes modeled after real bikes that don't blow up, or fictional bikes that do blow up, which would you choose? You can't have both.

Bikes modeled after real bikes that don't blow up. I'm just saying that in the future it would be cool.

What I'm telling you is that they're mutually exclusive. Add bike damage and cease and desist letters are sure to follow. There's no way I can add that.

If you want bike damage on bikes then the manufacturers are going to look at this game as its saying another bike is better than another because the Suzuki blew up and the Yamaha didn't and then the lawsuits follow shortly after. You can add an overlay of dirt to the bike to make it looked raced without anyone getting angry but the moment you start adding things like damage and one bike is more likely to make it through the race than another then say goodbye to Kawasaki and Honda and hello to Dakamoto and Blaze.

Oh. I understand. That makes more sense now. Please don't put the Dakamoto and Blaze in the game.....

That's not true at all. Recently saw an interview with the guy from Asseto Corsa and they asked if the car mfgs were ever going to let him impliment damage, he was like nobody has ever told me I can't code damage for their cars. Not one of stipulates anything like that in their contract. Ferrari, Pagani, BMW.......

Get to work JLV! But first do that modularity thing...

I saw a story from one developer that said Ferrari wouldn't even let him crack the windshield in a wreck. Of course, it would have been perfectly legal to do it since all trademark does is prevent you from masquerading as Ferrari. You can depict a Ferrari however you like and not violate their trademark. Only problem is you don't have to actually violate a law to be sued. So unless I can find a free lawyer somewhere, you can expect the bikes in this game to be 100% indestructible no matter what, just like in real life!
