If we found videos/articles saying the maximum horsepower would that help?

I last years SuperX series had interviews and It said chad reeds bike made 52 Horsepower or something
Kawasaki 250 was like 40ish, I could watch them again..

Or would you want an exact curve?
chads bike has to make more then that . the stock crf450 is 56hp so chads would be more

JLV I know you are waiting till most of the game options have been added...

But when are you looking at doing anything to the menus? what what will you do?
For the time being could we at least put skins in a list? I looked for a skin last night and it was an absolute nightmare... (turned out I didnt have it :? )

It could be nice to allow settings to be adjusted more finest, by 0.1 step with shift key down, for example . I did some of my settings editing config. file manually.

Maybe it's time to add a garage ^^ Because adding better bike just make old useless, choosing between differents power curves could be nice :) I did that when I was riding, swapping "gaz escape tube" &
carburetor depending of track type. Maybe we have differents tire type also one day or others...

Actually that is a brilliant idea...

Esspecially with bikes turning to EFI. Tyres would be awesome as well.

I came up with what I think is a pretty good Idea last night. It may have already been said, if so, I'm sorry. The idea is speed varying stability. the slower your speed, the easier the bike is to turn. and the stability should be low when the bike is in the air also. idk if this is do-able but i thought it was cool

This look like some settings which are already in game in Stability submenu : (from MX Simulator Starters Guide)
Slow Damping Speed - Speed in feet per second below which you get extra roll damping.
Slow Damping Factor - Amount of extra roll damping you get below slow damping speed.

JLV said also that (here):
"Right now the slow damping factor is 1.0 for all stability settings below 40. From 40 to 80 it goes from 1.0 to 2.0 and everything above 80 is 2.0. I can easily increase it at lower stability settings".

But maybe adding another relative speed settings including others could be utile, but i'm not sure of that, for jumps maybe... I think other things need to be improve first, but I have a lot to say if we start to improve physic and controler related settings. Because I think like you MXS need more work on theses settings, thoses are controler/gameplay related, and MXS need to be improved to be easier to configure with other than a gamepad as controler. I'm using a joystick (like flight stick) and I lose a lot of time to set it up, I think a lot of players don't have same patience as me.
Did I disable the Slow damping factor when I set it to 1 ? Maybe it was because of that I have some difficulties to control the bike with a stability over 40, i was a beginer too... I will continue later, I begin to be too long to be red ;)

Eye adaption for looking into lights or coming out of dark areas into light areas, sun ray type effect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TGt5aa6v8E. Depth of field would be pretty cool for use in first person, maybe even a little motion blur. Some games overuse effects like that and make the game not realistic, but if used right I think it would make the game look better but also make it feel even more like a simulator. Here are more lighting and other types of effects: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykwoD_eH8zs

Better rider movement and position. When I look at screenshots now the game is looking a lot better, but the rider is a dead giveaway of it not being a simulator in looks yet.

not really a game suggestion but a forum one.

let us edit our posts please..
i just messed up 2 posts trying to post screenshots, if i could have edited they would be posted correctly in the first one. i'm not going to post a third time, so i'm hoping someone will fix my second post.

i don't see a reason why we can't edit our posts.. it makes for messy stuff, especially in the screenshots section.

We had an incident where a user was misbehaving and then covering his tracks with the edit feature. Stopping that is more important than preventing a few extra posts in my book. My advice is to get it right the first time. Use the preview feature to test your post if you're posting links.

If I had a dollar for every time my workshop teacher told us that last year, well, I would have about 10 bucks.

I got that one from my dad too. On the other hand, my neighbor is more like "don't measure at all and hope you don't cut off a finger".
