Forcing bike classes

Post by jlv »

I'm going to add a server command to force everyone onto a specific class of bike. My question is, for riders who aren't on the right bike, should it leave them out of the race or force them onto a default bike?

How would the server know what bike/skin to put you on? A menu with a class list you can set-up manually??

Just throw you on the default skin. After all, its YOUR fault that you didn't select the right bike.

It would be nice as long as there was an option to set the max bike.

i.e. max 450 would have all bikes, max 250f would have just 125 and 250f, etc.
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit.

I'd say leave out of the race and give a warning through chat to switch.

I like the idea my only concern would be it getting abused in multiplayer so I assume only track marshals will be able to set this?

I also like the idea of being able to have a open/lites/450 class
