Making mxs compatible for normal perfromance Computers

Post by jasper125 »

i Was thinking would it be possible to make mxs compatible for an cheaper computer like mine with an 512mb graphics card?
It would get more people in mxs i think because you would not have to buy and 1000+ dollar or euro computer for competing in online tournaments and races.

Yes depeneding on how bad your PC is but you should be fine. The main cause of lag is all the custom models everyone uses.

Yeah. The user made models are nearly 10x the poly count of the stock setup.

delete all the stuff from personal folder, except tracks, even tho it can still lag, since the tracks are not optimized...

jlv can't do anything about it, it's all because of user made stuff that doesn't have lods, big maps, and wrong safed things

i have 3.4 ghz pro
2 ram
1gb card
and i ride 25-30 fps on average outdoor tracks with 20 riders(only stcok bikes like dj said) so if i lower grps more its just to weird and not fun at all

how about making like i said before separate detail setup for mine bike and others and somthing like draw distance like bikes who are far are invisible>?

Haha
I keep getting lag spikes its not a constant lag its just that the offset jumps up and slowly goes down again, can't figure out what that is

a $700 computer with stock models in 02 with 40 people playing, with only stock models and I was getting 95-105FPS... Computers aren't SUPER expensive. A laptop that will barely run the game cost's around $500...

I have a Dell Inspiron that I got for $700 at the end of last year (it would probably go for $500 in the US). Haven't run a 40 man gate yet
