Realistic rider fall off
Ok, this might be over done but i think this will help people fling into eachother in big races and also make mx sim more of a dream mx game with somethign i know ive always dreamed off in a game. fall off the bike get up and walk back to it and pick it up. get going again, this would be alot of work for JLV but i think it will help the crashing and be insane! obviusly be carefull of walking back to your bike and getting hit b guys though! haha. this may be a terrible idea though so idk let me know what you guys think

Re: Realistic rider fall off
You crazy, its complete shit how it is now. So unrealistic, Just have the rider fully detach and reappear on the bike after 5 - 10 seconds.
Been saying that for years now............................................................................................................................

Re: Realistic rider fall off
There would be a ton of goons that would be running around with no bikes

which means more demos for JLV to watch.supercross711 wrote:we could prob make that an automatic ban

Re: Realistic rider fall off
Or just have an animation automatically run back to your bike. If your guy gets hit running back to the bike then your both off. This may be a problem for leaders going down early in the race and I'm not really sure how you could make it aware of its surroundings not only for other rider purposes but for track objects. Would he parkour jump over the haybales or run around them?
Re: Realistic rider fall off
Ever seen the clip of RC going down in the whoops, then he pokes his head out into the lane and gets slammed in the head? That sure does come to mind.

Re: Realistic rider fall off
i think DJDs idea is awful, if people can go flying off the map and repeaer no matter what in 5-10 seconds more goons flying into to first turns, it would be a lot of work for jlv but i think you crash and control the rider and walk him back tot eh bike and maybe even have a jump button over hay bails ect. more consiquence when you crash, less people gooning starts like idiots

Re: Realistic rider fall off
I'm sure there is a way to make this possible. It would add a whole new level to this game. When i play the game in front of someone who is seeing it for the first time loves it.. absolutely blown away by everything until it comes to when i crash, they laugh and I can tell they are slightly turned off by the way the rider holds on.
I see it as another obstacle the fast guys have to overcome to be fast. You can crash a couple times if you are fast enough and still be able to come from the pack. In real life, unless you're the goat, it is very rare to see someone do that. Being a simulator it would seem appropriate..I know it would frustrate me even more since one crash can throw my chances of putting up good results down the shitter. But, still this would be insane to have added. I don't know about the whole controlling it manually thing because people will act like idiots with their bikeless guy running around the track

the harder you crash the father you are, thats just real life and like a said prada any foolishness like that or running in front of people on purpos could be an automatic ban
