Team Speak Request for Further Games

Post by KaseoDip »

Well In teamspeak we decided that the top 40 qualifiers in each class should be flown out to the race in real life and have a gaming trailer that we play Sim in the middle of the track.
PROS
Someone would have to make robots for each player. Basically a real race but with robots controlled by us.
Realistic gaming experience
Maybe Tysen could be beat. But probably not.
CONS
A few of us would have to be tied down from the waist so no one can rage and injure/kill someone else. And you know who you are.... (robert..)
It would be expensive to fly 80 people every week around the states.

I don't even get what you are suggesting. The top 40 that qualified get tickets to the real race and in the pits have a giant gaming trailer that houses 40 PC's to play the race on? I get that part but then you went and threw in something about robots and completely lost my train of thought. the hell does any of it have to do with a robot? Why we the players control them if they are playing on a PC? Do you mean as a stunt double that way when you leave for the weekend no one notices?

Let me go into greater detail about the robots.. We would be flown out each weekend (Sunday) and in the pits there would be 80 computers set up. 40 in one room for 250's and 40 in another for 450's. The robots come in to this topic as a way of giving spectators something to watch. They would have realistic features so you could barely tell a difference from the robot to real life. The way the robot works is it is based off what the rider does in sim. The robot would do the same thing as the rider in the game. The robot would wear the same gear as the rider ingame so the spectators wouldn't have to watch a bunch of riders with banana fenders go around the track. If that makes sense.

Basically the robot suggestion means that we're going to be putting a sensor from our controllers on a real bike that will be controlled by our controller and what we do ingame. And in that case,
