Supercross made too fast?

Post by Pamlex86 »

Hello.

Today I was testing different supercross tracks and what I've noticed that it is getting easier year after year!
I got new favorite supercross track: 2011 Houston, the track is simply just so good! I can't explain it, you have to ride it yourself! Compare it to arlington 2013.
Houston is more closer real supercross than arlington. So my suggest is that jlv could start do houston-like tracks.

Tell me what you think after you tested houston 2011 and compared it to arlington 2013.

Of course jlv decides this.

2011 was my favorite year for SX, 2010 had a lot of cool tracks too. Didn't really like the 2012 tracks at all, and the ones this year aren't too bad, but they are too short.

lenght of track is imo pretty good but because the rythms are made so fast

JLV works very hard im sure so no disrespect to him but i agree, there could also be some more cool stuff like ruts and breaking bumps. Just more surprise factor would be nice.

Opposite for me. 2013 tracks are the hardest for me. I actually thought I was decent till this series. Mainly the whoops that kick my ass as well as over jumping everything. I noticed ppl were saying they need more resistance and traction. Use erode in single player and things will seem like they should be IMO. That's why I think this game desperately needs multiplayer erode

yes, if you tested houston you may noticed that the whoops was easiest part. I have same problem I could run good lapsbut i just whisky thorttle over the whoops. that drives down my fun of playing.

I think that this year's tracks have been the best. I like having the difficult whoops, and most of the tracks have had a lot of different options in the rhythm sections.

I like the 2013 tracks, definitely my favorites. The whoops are big and fun!

In my experience with the tracks, I found that the whoops were hard yes, but I managed to get past them most of the time no problem, but the jumps and rhythms feel based around 450's, so you really have to power through corners to get the rhythm or make a triple on 125/250s.

THIS THIS THIS!!! That what I mean!!! Old tracks were smaller so they was technically difficult, not that who can go curves and 5-5-5 sections...

Yes and bigger whoops are better

I was actually able to get through the whoops a lot more consistently on the 125 than a 450 (at Arlington). I do think the 2013 layouts are less 125 friendly than previous years, but obviously that's not jlv's fault (damn you dirt wurx).

For me riding the 125, we used to just compare times to 250f times, now 250f times are compared to 450f times, so you just feel even slower on the 125 . Still my favorite bike in the game though, the 450's are fun still. I used stock gearing on Millville, and hardly had to shift at all haha.
