so with racing being on a set date and time, it would be nice to have a app for mxscentral to set alerts and things like that. Maybe like an alert 24 hours before racing starts then another alert 1 hour before. Also be able to see the info about the races, results, teams.. ect ect..

that sounds great, man. let me do some research and reach out to my brother, he manages and creates iphone apps. my brother can give me a ballpark figure to see what im looking at; price wise. if able to afford it then i'll get intouch with you and we'll get the ball rolling on mxscmobile.

The mobile site I would do jsut with responsive css, so essentially it will be the same site just mobile friendly.

I would add the features to the site for event reminders (but like I said bottom of the list).

Right now I am not 100% sure where Central is going because I have just resigned from my job to go into a full time freelance role on my own.

resigned huh? i instantly started smiling because i now know you'll have more time for mx sim. lol but yes, completely understandable. the more important things go first.

have you ever thought about moving the game to a online network? so maybe you can add in buddy lists and instant buddy chats. maybe even having uploads for skins, like instead of having a personal folder, you upload (only one at a time) .png for your particular bike you're using at the time. so there is only one slot to upload; if you change your bike you can just switch the current .png for another.png using the same slot. which will also save room for the network only having one uploaded at a time and when you upload a different skin the current skin just removes it's self by replacing the upload link connected to your pc. which will allow everyone to see your bike and not just those who have your skin downloaded. also when you upload a certain .png in the "riders garage/home" maybe a visible model to showcase your bike and rider. i think it would be very rewarding for those who spend hours on their skins, finally have them recognized for great work and flaunt team colors to everyone.

as well as being on a network would also open room for intimidate downloads. like having a certain tabs within the "riders garage" they can see what's new much similar to the forums but more organized. basically if someone creates a tracks an sends it to the "tracks" tab, other riders can download and rate it bad, good or excellent. and have 3 brackets for "general tracks", "good tracks" and "excellent tracks".. and to divide the tracks where they should be, each player has a one time choice to vote each track they download. if the track is good or excellent they can add a star to the chosen quality of choice and if the track is bad they can give it a bad rating which will remove one star. therefor if a track has anywhere from 0-25 stars it fall under "general tracks" if the track has anywhere from 26-75 stars is falls under the "good tracks" and 75+ will fall under excellent.

another good thing is again, no personal folder the track you download will save to your game which will essentially give you the option to go through "your track list" and remove the track you have the desire to remove. i have lots of ideas that are hard to express through typing. basically moving the game to a network will make it more of a friendly atmosphere and hopefully pull in more friends of friends that have friend who wants to play lol the easier it is to see where people are in-game and have the opportunity to speak with them directly the faster they can link up and ride together. also having a friends tab that will allow you to invite friends to ride with you. course having to deal with a friends list will have the "away, offline or online" notification beside your name and of course a ignore and "add to friends" option.

so yeah, on another outlook toward network based you can even add a tournament tab that will run you into the event races but only instead of going right into the game there's a list of rooms like a lobby that you'll go into that displays a little timer that times when the next race starts so for those who qualify can inter the race, when the first 40 get beat they are kicked from the room the other riders who get booted back to the lobby and then round 2 times down once again. the host chooses when the race starts/how many riders per lobby ect ect.. maybe even have it a feature that anyone can host, have a list of rooms that are racing and shows the rider ratio on the name of the room(chosen by the host) for example 4 people are in one room and the host has it set for 20 riders max; it will it appear "hosts room name"-"4/20"rather then open servers that are confusing and frustrating wondering where everyone is and when the race will actually begin and not having to worry about riders being in the room who arn't supposed to be for certain races(seasonal sponsored races,private training sessions for teams and or personal rooms that are going at the moment) and when the room riders all leave (0/0) the created room automatically removes itself from the list...

but yeah, i have lots of little ideas, i guess some are good some are bad and some are expensive, just figured id let you in on some of my thoughts. and if you have read all of this, i want to thank you for time and to anyone whos read out of curiosity, thank you for your time aswell.

I would prefer that people donated to keep the site running the bandwidth usage from that 1 single track on central was just over 10gb of data for 304 downloads. I will improve the site over time and happy to add peoples suggestions as long as it is a viable solution to problems or something really required. Of course this will be around my freelance work as I leave my day job as of 30th August, and therefore will be working my ass off freelancing as I do in my evenings now. Haha.
