Hi,
When im riding with my buddies, we usually do knockout races, or 1 lap races. But it would be cool if the host of the server could set the server results to the best time. So we can have a bit competition who's gonna get the fastest lap. Also, if this feauture would be added, EMF and RF etc could have a time practice just like in real life

I'm not totally sure what you are suggesting, but it sounds like this could already be done via server scripts.

What he is say is that instead of the being based on what position your, it's based on who has the fastest lap.

Re: Online time practice function
but surely you can see their lap time when you finish and say oh yeah johny got the best lap even though he got fifth place....
try running your own server too if you want fewer laps ect. I like thes ervers as they are now

Okay, but what is the goal? To have laptimes based results posted on the server stats page, or run some sort of racing format based on fastest lap?ExtremeManiac wrote:What he is say is that instead of the being based on what position your, it's based on who has the fastest lap.

Well, if the race is finished, then there will be a result of best laptimes instead of who finished the race in first. Sorry if i didn't explained it well

It will be great for the emf and rf races because of the number of people that qualify for the events.

Didn't JLV test this in 02 awhile back? The laptimes were spamming the chat all race long.Tom cortvriendt wrote:wheels1758 wrote:Okay, but what is the goal? Re: Online time practice function
It would be trivial to have the server list lap times in order at the end of the race. It wouldn't show up in the same spot as the results though.
