2015 Supercross Suggestion
Alot of people complained last year about the tracks not being perfect to the race day track because im guessing they was built on race plans not the race day track. maybe whoever makes the tracks in 2015 leave a week out so have A1 in sim on Pheonix in real life so they have a week to make the race day track if that makes sense. would be a cool little thing to add more realism to the track if they were exactly like the race day layout.

Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
Another idea would be to get people from the sim community who go to these events, to take photos of the race track,
start a new topic and post these updated photos. So that the track creators can see these changes and apply them to the sim track.

I like playing the track while it is on TV, its more fun that way.

i agree with both of your points i think it will be between what would you rather do race it the same days as real life and the tracks be alittle different from race day, OR wait a week and get them all race day layouts. either way i dont mind thats why its a suggestion i just love that people are doing these amazing tracks.

Its been done this way for like the last 4 years, not just last year. I dont see that changing any time soon. And actuallllyy we would try and update it last minute the best we could based on pictures and press day video through social media.

Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
I thought you guys did a good job of delivering up to date tracks that were really nice. However, we run into the problem of A2; there was no render for that, so, though it wasn't hard to find, you still had to hunt it down, and, the real life lap times were in the low 50s (53 was the fastest that day, if I remember correctly) yet, Smith was only able to hit a 58, and that was using ridiculous fast lines. Also, it's the day before Thanksgiving, and, I don't know about you, but I haven't seen a single 2015 SX track map yet. So anyone making tracks for rF SX this year may be forced to do it this way, unless the track maps are released soonbarrington314 wrote:Its been done this way for like the last 4 years, not just last year. Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
Remember they had a video of a track for like a day that wasnt the real track because they couldnt use the over under bridge or something? I made more than half of that track, then made the real A2 track. I think that was for A2. Anyways, regarding the lap times, I have Arlington 2014 rebuilt to as close to accurate scale as I think I can get it, and at 1:1 I can match real life times but when i scale it up my times are slower. Just a thought.mxsrider96 wrote:I thought you guys did a good job of delivering up to date tracks that were really nice. Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
I don't believe I ever saw this video. But, that's what I would like to see. Tracks that get as close to real life lap times as humanly possible. I like the feeling that we're in the real life series, and I feel the lap times just add to the effectbarrington314 wrote:Remember they had a video of a track for like a day that wasnt the real track because they couldnt use the over under bridge or something? Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
Quite possibly the easiest and best solution...
Tracks are built to the best of the creators ability and then released in a locked thread on the forums. No new threads discussing track design are allowed.
Okay, that actually wouldn't work because some feedback is actually good. Guess I better lay on a few extra layers to get some thicker skin.
I expect we'll see track maps sometime this week.

Re: 2015 Supercross Suggestion
Checkerz, if you think I'm bashing the tracks, or your ability at track making, I'm sorry. That's not what I'm doing at all. That's just my own desire. However, I realize you guys make these tracks, release these tracks, and hold races on these tracks for us absolutely free of charge. However you wanna do it, I'm happy with, as long as I have a new track to race on. I appreciate you guys putting all this hard work into something you are not at all required to put any effort into; however, I have attempted making tracks, and know somewhat how hard it can be, and that's why I said what I said

I didn't take it that way at all. I was being light-hearted.mxsrider96 wrote:Checkerz, if you think I'm bashing the tracks, or your ability at track making, I'm sorry.
