would be lovely if jlv could implement it so we can go over-vert with our gradients dots/ curves/ whatever there called. would open up the door for some cool new things to be done with this game.
if anyone (barrington) can find some nice pictures barrington once did up to explain this that would be rad seeming i cant find them. might of even been buddy the elf that had them cant quite remember.

Re: Over vert on gradients
You mean something that goes past vertical and extrudes over itself? If so I think its probably impossible to do with the current gradient and heightmaps. You would have to be able to import custom models as the map which I guess would be possible. Not sure you would be able to do texture and friction. You'd also need to generate your own collisions for it and you could probably never use erode unless that also got changed.

WHat? I dont think I ever explained this. If so it was before I understood that its impossible with grey scale height maps.MX181 wrote:

Yeah, but than I need to get skills in the modelling area... If I don't get a summer job, I may get into it.Boblob801 wrote:If anything you could always just build an object and try use that.

Or you could just use the gradient to model optionWahlamt wrote:Yeah, but than I need to get skills in the modelling area... If I don't get a summer job, I may get into it.Boblob801 wrote:If anything you could always just build an object and try use that.
