biggest problem in MXS

Post by warrior462 »

The biggest problem in MXS right now is the same as when I first got the game and always has been. I have addressed it before, and now with the new ranking system it is even more important that it is fixed. Not nearly enough online races finish. You get a bunch of whiny little children who start a race, ram a bunch of people and go down to last, and then restart. Or, sometimes you get the losers who come in and just request a restart instantly every time, because the world revolves around them and if they're not in the race, then it doesn't matter. You need to go to 100% restart requests until EVERY rider has finished the race. Make the timeout like a minute to compensate. It must be done. In my mind, any further update that doesn't fix this problem is a complete and utter failure. People who quit races and then come back and restart don't have any negative effect on their rankings, yet if you're leading and the race is restarted, it hurts yours. Absolutely backwards and ridiculous.

This is incorrect actually. Anyone who doesn't finish the race is recorded with a DNF and they are beat by everyone who did finish the race. Therefore, it does hurt their "rankings" for whatever its worth.

I'm talking about restarting before anybody finishes the race.

It does bother me if I'm in a close battle for say, 3rd, knowing that I can win the race, and on lap 5 or 6 they restart, leaving me with a 3rd place finish when it might possibly have been 1st.
