First Person Gear Goggles
Could we get a first person overlay on the screen something similar to this here? Possibly linked to a skin, and on a long stretch, have the HUD integrated into the goggle frame.

You don't really have the frame of the goggles in your view when you have them on your face. Maybe just barely out of focus on the very edge of view.
However, i think it would be cool having the bottom of the visor visible a little bit.

I could support the goggle , visor, and nose of the helmet being visible from first person.

It would be easy to do, but won't everyone just disable it for better visibility?

You first person users make me sick! lol
Mad respect tho! I play 1st person for funzies a lot now, but I'm just garbage at the game that way haha
The option would be cool, but mostly for screens and helmet (eyeball) cams haha

I don't think this would make much sense if the camera is setup on the rider's chest.
I started playing in first person at the beginning of 2011, and now whenever I go to 3rd person, I can't judge distances at all. I'm used to have the FOV at 121 in 1st person.Sweendoggy wrote:I play 1st person for funzies a lot now, but I'm just garbage at the game that way haha

You can change the first person angle a bit.

That seems like that would be the way to go for sure even the top of the mouth covering part shows a slight bit.
would it be easy making as one 1st person where you can zoom in/out to see the goggles or not. Or just make to seperate 1st person cams to keep everyone happy loljlv wrote:It would be easy to do, but won't everyone just disable it for better visibility?

Ive always thought about this in motocross games. I would always play supercross circuit in 1st person and wonder where the goggles were xD

Re: First Person Gear Goggles
well in real life the goggles don't really obstruct your view does it. mainly because you can freely move your head around. I don't think vision should be impaired even more than it already is in first person view.
if it's an on/off feature then I have no objection, but as jlv said if you can switch it on and off who will use it?

1- I am sure Mona was already aware of that, it's not any secret.Yamaha285 wrote:Mona wrote:I don't think this would make much sense if the camera is setup on the rider's chest.I started playing in first person at the beginning of 2011, and now whenever I go to 3rd person, I can't judge distances at all. 2- I just don't think that would be necessary as that would already make 1st person even more of a headache, and pointless in this game. Even tho I ride 1st person, I agree with shack in the fact half these things, riders never even notice while riding. I do think there could be some adjustments in 1st person, but for the most part it is fair enough to go fast, just ask Shack lol.....

Re: First Person Gear Goggles
Yea, I think that if there were a goggle outline, it would have to be just barely visible. The example in the first post I think shows way too much goggle. That's not how it looks IRL. When I ride, I barely even see the front fender because I'm looking ahead. A fuzzy outline of goggles at the perimeter of the screen might be okay, as well as the helmet visor, but not everyone who plays this game has a nice big monitor or big-screen TV to play on, and the proposed goggle-view in the first post would really be a hindrance to anyone playing on a small screen.

Re: First Person Gear Goggles
Hmm good idea. Might as well, since I often play in my moto boots, knee braces, pants, and jersey (usually when I'm playing in between actual riding sessions)

Mikey should wear his helmet, so he can band his head down on the desk without hurting himself
