Another Suggestion, Please Read

Post by WhMx179 »

I have been seeing a few really good suggestion for this game lately so I figured I would share one of my own that I have had in mind for a long time.
One of the things I personally think this game would really be awesome with is full rider seperation druing crashes. But thats not just it, I think that it would be really awesome if during a crash atfer the rider has come to a stop, instead of just resetting, the rider stands up, and runs to his bike on his own and gets back on.
I used to play a game call suberbike for the PC and it had this same type of thing, observe...

lol. cuz something like that wouldnt cause massive raging..

it is a good suggestion though. it would be better if the rider stayed within a certain distance to the bike after a fall. that way you wouldnt be spending a ridiculous amount of time running back to the bike, but will be alot more realistic.

I've always thought about that. Just never had the never to post it, I think this is a great idea and the certain distance from bike thing is a great solution to the only problem I would have with it. Every game I've played that has to do with crashing has made me want that. Such as Skate, and MVA games.

yeah exactly, seeing this be a simulator, I think personally that full rider seperation would make the game much funner, for me anyways

how about a "run" button, to keep you occupied, furiously pressing a button, making the rider run instead of just waiting for it to do it automatically.

a side benefit of a "run" button would be keeping people from writing their expletives in the chat box and distracting other riders with rage comments, they would be too busy banging the "run" button

I'd love to see this idea put to use, It will make consistency even more crucial. Like IRL.

you could make an entire minigame out of it :P.

QWOP controls. and then when another rider comes on your path as you run back across the track to your bike you enter a quick time event where you have to press a sequence of buttons to dodge the other rider. and if you execute perfectly you can roundhouse kick the other rider off his bike :P.
after that, because the other rider is pissed, you enter mortal combat mode. FIGHT!!!. The one that wins gets 2 red shells to shoot at other riders. The other riders has to ride with reversed controls for 20 seconds. if another rider hits the guy with reversed controls the reverse controls are transfered to the other rider.

I'd play that game :)

why? as harder the crash, as longer the waiting time...
