First, I have not watched the demo. But from the description and Jeff's reply, is it at all possible that if his friend was indeed playing, and Jeff has the auto align off, that his friend may wreck and get turned around and head in the wrong direction? Wouldnt be the first time I've seen it happen to newer guys.

First off you are in the ban court which means anyone can put input in to aid with the case. Though it probably won't make much difference.
Second, no reason to be a jerk.
Third, just let it go. You were a newbie once too and probably did your fair share of pissing people off too.
Fourth, you can tell if a wreck is intentional or not and its pretty easy to do so. If a dude is swerving all over the course like he's drunk then its pretty obvious its unintentional. But if he is holding it wide with little effort to turn then its intentional.
