MX.EXE Deleted

Hi guys! I have the biggest problem yet i believe... was sat playing mxs last night having a good ole time etc.. this morning i load up the comp and go to play mxs then i get a message saying "could not find mx.exe" strange i know.. the thing is i didnt change or move any files or folders last night just play. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the installer i have but it doesnt give me the mx.exe file!!!! so i figured perhaps somehow (which i have no idea how) its become corrupt, i go to my email and download from btmicro again, the download flys along until the very very end. then the speed just drops and it never finishes! not only that i tried to get the latest snapshot from this site and it says "network failed"?? anyone experienced this before??? im stumped! something somewhere has caused this to mess up, if it helps.. i launch my mxsim thru steam. i cant see how this would affect it but that still doesnt explain why my installer or computer would not give me or allow me to have the mx.exe file!! please help! thanks guys

it appears that im not the only one with this problem.... the mxs servers seem to have gone down and we cannot play mxs no more? whats going on jlv?

Strangely enough, Gary here asked me to help him out and I went into my personal folder to get my installer out and upload (thinking maybe his files were corrupt) and upon clicking my personal folder I get the prompt stating my shortcut doesn't exist. I search for my .exe and it also doesn't exist.

As Gary stated, I also haven't messed with files in the slightest bit. I don't think this is coincidence.... is anyone else having this same issue all of a sudden?

gary...SAME THING. everything from mxs is deleted! we are all having same problems. i tried going to my email and re-downloading it completely. but i get this message:
"installer integrity check has failed. Common causes inclusde incomplete download and damaged media BLAH BLAH BLAH"

Yeah everyone... Just found another thread here explaining what happened.

If you all have Avast malware protection, restore mx.exe from the Virus Chest in Settings. Then make it an exception.

For whatever reason Avast just randomly decides mx sucks or something
