Ps3 controller help please!

Ive been playing mxs for a couple of years now and never had a problem with my controller but recently when i plug it into my pc it flashes twice and all of the lights turn off, it also dosent get reconised on ds3 tool! Please help me

It's been happening to me recently too. I don't use DS3 Tool, but when my controller isn't recognized normally I just have to restart the computer. If that doesn't work, then try reloading the drivers. A Windows update while ago blacklisted the DS3 drivers though, or at least im pretty sure, so you're going to have to set your PC date prior to the Windows update. Just set it to 2013 or something and you should be golden. Once you load in the drivers make sure you put your PC date back to the current date. If that doesn't work then cry like I did for 3 weeks until I figured out how to fix it.
