Unlocking fps

Post by Yokel »

I was just wondering if it is possible to unlock your fps to more than 125 and if it is how would one go about doing it?

No, the physics run at 128hz.

The game is technically running at 128fps, but the FPS text renderer flickers between the last few numbers around 128 so quickly that you can't see it easily. You can do /fpshist in the chat to see it touching 128.

It could go beyond 128 Hz by interpolating frames. Probably will do that at some point now that monitors are so fast.

Would you set a min/max limit or allow for customization?

Once it can render an interpolated frame it should be easy to make limits.
