Post by Johansson809 »

I started my mxs and I started a track and it lagg a lot. So now i don´t know what to do. I haven´t changed any graphics settings. I started my bf3 after mxs to see if it was my computer but it worked fine.
My texture memory was on 1120 something and my usual texture memory was on 400.

Try choosing the compatibility settings from the graphics menu and restarting the game. Also, it's possible to have broken OpenGL drivers without affecting your Direct3D drivers, so the other game working doesn't eliminate a driver problem.

Gona hijack the thread:
I managed to destroy two HDD's recently and I am now on an old IDE disk for a couple of months. My win7 rating has fallen from 8.9 to 5.2.

No matter what graphics setting I use or what track I play, I get 5 min of normal play and then 3 min of lag, like every 3 seconds there is
a fps spike and then it goes back to normal. It always happens in an online race or when I am on a fast lap.Very Annoying.Ofcourse I thought
it's a shitty disk, but all other games run without a problem and also the HDD light isn't on or flashing when I get the fps spikes.

Things I tryed:
-Trying all MXS graphics settings
-increasing/disabling page file
-Disabling superfetching

When I open the resource monitor when I lag, there is minimal disk activity with the "system" process.
Any tips?

Disable vsync on your video card?

Try turning off demo recording.

Thanks for the suggestions but it didn't help.

But I think I found the solution. It was ether the "Windows Search" or "Windows security center" service.
Did a 30 min practice session at redbud and no stuttering.
