Rear Brake SX?

Post by APerry151 »

Having some major issues with corner speed in SX. Do you have to rear brake slide to get you turned quicker or what? Any help or good thread links would be good thanks in advance.

well for me if you wont to triple into a corner i just double sing because you go alot slower, but if you use a controller assign both your front brake and back brake onto one button and then just brake hard and lean back and when you get to the corner do you what you normally do :)

for a racing acpect, you want normal for rear break, use it to square up riders or sections. For a learning aspect, nothing wrong with antilock on the rear. But it doesnt really do much if you ask me (using both breaks i mean), raising your shock preload while lowering fork preload will help your bike corner faster, might wanna try that.

ah what? lean back in a corner? thats not real, u want to be on the tank, at least on an outdoor track, ive never raced supercross so maybe its diff but that goes against everything ive learned growing up racing.
