High ping fix?

High ping fix?
Hey guys, is there a way to fix a high ping? I noticed it happening today when i was qualifying for thunder valley and it says something like "17242ms (7m offset)" and then the ms part keeps going higher then decreases after a while

Your ping is based on internet speed, and your ms offset is how well your connecting to your server , so basically to quote you your internet "sucks big ass"
