fast computer but starts to lag bad

i got a new computer thursday it was awesome! i ran the rf race on high graphic setting and it ran super smooth. but now today(friday) even with the graphics turned all the way down it freezes for a split second and im getting almost like slow-mo lag. it looks like im going really slow and its skipping frames. does anyone have any help for me? i really need it!

Can you tell me what the specs are to your pc. And in the advanced settings of the game are you running hardware direct?

i will also start to download something that normaly take less then a minute but its taking more than an hour. any ideas? it was perfect yesterday but today it is absolutely HORRIBLE.

It sounds like an internet problem with the Slow-mo and taking forever to download.

thats what i was thinking but when i surf the web its pretty fast and has no trouble loading pages. i run mx sim on medium settings and get 120 fps even when im playing online, it just randomly does it every 10 seconds-1 minute

hmm, idk sometimes I get a little lag for a split second not enough to do anything though.

yeah i reset my internet and for the most part its fixed but lags every now and then ill have to see if it goes full retarded on me again
