Ps3 analog stick help

Please help me I tried using a ps3 controller for mxs and how to i set up my analog sticks to work please help even xbox controller users please help meeeee

I am currently using motionjoy. It is a pretty straight forward free program. All you need to do is map the appropriate actions to the buttons you want.

download the program, install it, install driver, connect ps3 controller via usb. controller should connect to the program. enable it. assign the buttons in mxsim. tada!!! Also turn off the tilt functions in the motionjoy program or they can mess with your rider position depending on how you assign your controls. That should get you going if you need more help refer to motionjoy forums and mxsim forums. Tons of information out there you just have to find it. Try a few searches.

Also I hope I'm not asking to much but how do I. Make the analogs work

on the motionjoy program use {ps3 option} ...click {vibarte testing}..make sure it vibrate.if not restart your computer....then make sure it vibrate.. then next to it go to {game controller panel}. Go to properties and make sure the analog stick move..if it doesn't work.. you may have a older model ps3 controller, because my old ps3 analog sticks doesn't work with the Ds3 program but my new ps3 controller does...
