ESC key doesn't always work while in game

When I'm in the game and want to exit or select a new track/options, the esc key doesn't work, more often than not. I have to ctrl-alt-delete out of the game and re-launch from desktop. Sometimes when I reboot my computer, it helps, but not always

Is this any kind of known issue, or does it sound like it's a computer issue on my end?

BTW, I'm using Windows 8, if that matters

Are you running Photoshop in the background? At least some versions trap the escape key.

I just closed photoshop and it worked. I have PS open a lot. Hopefully that's the whole problem

OMG, IS THAT WHY! That's been happening to me and I always have photoshop open.
