MXS Won't Start
After the new update I had some lag issues, saw that people claimed full screen helped. Set the game to full screen, closed out, now when I try to start the game it stays on a black screen and the lovely little "program not responding" then closes MXS. Any ideas?

It happends every now and than. Since I switched out my broken RAM memories, it has only happend one time. I don´t know how to solve it though. :/Evo997 wrote:After the new update I had some lag issues, saw that people claimed full screen helped. Try deleting the config file to get back to the default settings.

Tried that before I posted. It didn't help the slightest.jlv wrote:Try deleting the config file to get back to the default settings.

Re: MXS Won't Start
That worked as far as opening. But the lag is back.

Re: MXS Won't Start
Thought I'd bump this because now that I'm back in windowed mode I'm having the lag issues again. If there's a way to fix either the lag in windowed, or actually getting fullscreen to run, please let me know.

What video card are you using and what does the driver info in the game say? If it's a laptop have you tried setting the power saving mode to high performance?

Re: MXS Won't Start
I'm seeing an AMD Radeon HD 6620G and an AMD Radeon HD 6750M, I usually run a gaming mode and run game booster to disable any unnecessary applications that are running. I switched to a high performance mode and it made little to no difference. I've always been careful to avoid overheating my computer, and I always keep an eye on the temperature. I never had this problem before, and I'm not exactly sure when it started.

Your card is a 6750M but the driver info says 6620G? Are you sure you have the correct graphics driver installed?

Re: MXS Won't Start
This is what I'm looking at. Just ran a scan yesterday, updated the old drivers. Graphics wasn't one of them.

Re: MXS Won't Start
I did some searching for you and it looks like you can set which GPU each app uses in Catalyst Control Center
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-article ... psFAQ.aspx
What you need to do is go into Catalyst Control Center and set MX Simulator to use the fast GPU.
