1.9 Crashing

Post by BlizzardDUCK »

I don't know what is up with this new update, but my Mx Sim keeps crashing on it. I can run like 5-15 minutes and then it freezes up. Anybody else having this problem?

Just the regular "mx.exe has stopped responding"? Can you post the crash details? Open your control panel and paste this in the address bar at the top (for Windows 7):

Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Problem Reports

Double click the MXS crash and copy/paste the contents.

Says Video Hardware Error and MXsim.exe stopped working. Wasn't happening until I installed 1.9. I never changed any of the graphics, saying that graphics card took too much load. Suggestions are to turn down settings, but that doesn't help.

Check the temperature. "Video hardware error" after 5 minutes sounds like it's overheating.

I don't think that would be a problem. I have a cooling pad that my laptop sits on that constantly feed its cool air. Its always around 67 degrees f in the room I am in, and the cooling pad has 3 fans that run. Unless it needs to be cleaned out?
