I have had this problem for awhile and I know others have had this problem as well. Recently, CoreNetworks did some sort of maintainence on their site and now everyone with a CN server can't get their MXS servers running. I'm able to ping the server and all that, but we all get contacting server when we try to connect. Here's how I usually restart the server in putty:
-killall mxserver
-cd mxserver
-run mxserver, ignoring hangup signals
-nohup ./mxserver --args-file serverargs.txt &
Any ideas anybody?

DP someone else with a server like mine made a support ticket and CN said it was an error on our end.

Check your Firewall Byron. The Firewall may be blocking you. The other thing is, it sounds like they did an upgrade that has potentially switched a firewall on, that would be on them not you. It was all working so you can request that they tell you exactly what they did. I suggested you personally contact them and I suggest it again.
