Re: XInput and DirectInput
It uses DirectInput not XInput.

Re: XInput and DirectInput
Could we swap or have both options?
This would open up the ability to use both triggers at once or so I believe.

Re: XInput and DirectInput
I don't plan on porting to XInput but I do plan on making an SDL2 port which does support XInput. Also they're wrong about DirectInput with proportional buttons. I don't know what their reasons are for not supporting it on the 360 controller but it is definitely possible to do proportional buttons in DirectInput.

You can use both triggers if you switch to the XBCD driver. Also you can assign different stuff to be on the same input I like to have both sticks lean forward/back so in some rough stuff I can use the right stick so I don't accidentally steer.

Re: XInput and DirectInput
Tried it, didn't work on w8 for some reason. It just installs the windows drivers again and always uses them. I just use xpadder for multiple assignments which doesn't work for things like triggers and sticks.SMR 510RR wrote:You can use both triggers if you switch to the XBCD driver. Re: XInput and DirectInput
Ahh I have 7 so never ran into that issue. I wish M$ would just come out with a better driver. I had to go into device manager and uninstall the controller to get it to work with the XBCD driver, not sure if that is what you did but hopefully that might help.Boblob801 wrote:Tried it, didn't work on w8 for some reason. Re: XInput and DirectInput
Yeah I uninstalled it then installed the XBCD but when I reconnected the controller it re installed the windows ones.
