Hidden HUD

Hey guys & gals, I just had a quick question about hiding the HUD. I have it hidden for single player and I was wondering if there was a way to hide it when online? I know what you're thinking..."Well how are you going to know what gear you're in?" The truth is, I use automatic shifting, the game is hard enough for me as it is. And I like having no distractions on the screen as I'm playing. If anyone knows if there is a command line or something please comment below. Thanks and have a great day.

Sorry that's only in the command line options.

It would be nice if I didn't have 2 different shortcuts on my desktop.

I don't change it at all. I have it hidden for single player and I just deal with it in multiplayer. But it would be nice to not have it in multiplayer.
