I'm not opposed to reading the forums and have been very hesitant about asking what might be considered a stupid question, I've searched and read several posts to figure this out but it's been somewhat elusive, the worst part is I know it's going to turn out to be something really simple and I'll feel stupid for having to ask, but anyways. Im sure it's probably that I'm just editing the file wrong, but Ive been banging my head on the wall for days trying to get it right.
-How do I add a tilemap to the ingame editor? (I want a sand tilemap for the track perimeter areas, and didnt want to paste decals eveywhere out there)
-what type of image do I use? and what dimensions?

2) PNG or PPM image, with a resolution of either 256x256 or 512x512 px

Re: Tilemaps for in game editor?
thanks for the reply DJ. I read through that whole thread, made a tileinfo file, but I still can't get it working. still only dirt/grass tilemaps and stock traction. I really don't want to keep asking questions about this because of how people on this forum usually respond, so no need for further reply. Thanks again, I'll figure it out myself in time.
