im very diverse when it comes to rock... I play all types on guitar such as metal, metalcore, classic, alternative. Its just something I love that I took up doing after I had to hang my boots up racing after 10 years. Parkway Drive has some of the sickest riffs I ever heard as a guitar player and sick ass solo's. I also enjoy Randy Rhoads from Ozzy, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Slash (GNR), Michael Padget (Bullet For My Valentine), Matthias Jabbs (Scorpions), and Oli Herbert (All That Remains). If you look at all those guys they are all way different when it comes to style of play. Parkway Drive's Jeff Ling is who I been digging lately. Its not the vocals I listen to its the music. Sorry if you didnt like it but its my thing but more than likely I probally will never do another one like that.
I enjoy it for sure, post-hardcore and metalcore are where it's at. Adestria, The Devil Wears Prada, We Came as Romans, City Delieverd, etc.. Gotta rep that shit
ok in my opinion im a metallica guy all the way. nothing like listening to james hetfield burst out singing jump in the fire and kirk hammit busting out a huge guitar solo and larz erlich smashing ass on those drums and robert trujigalo... nobody cares for him lol. i am not that huge on screaming music but the only screaming music that i have respect for is all that remains. that is one kickass band.
