This is what I mean by ontrack..
Also I have a dumb question ...The lighting file has a major effect on the shaders right? If so It would be hella awsome to have some sort of lighting editor that is easy to use with sliders for desired effect that would write the lighting file for you ...Just open the track with it ...adjust the sliders ...Save and done...but that would probbly be askin to much

Looks awesome. The spec for the decals could be lowered a little bit in my opinion.

Anything would be great as long as it wouldn't be to complicated to use ...Going back and forth wouldn't be bad...

If you want to do it right though, you really need to get the sun position in the skybox matching up with the light direction

I've wondered what the position of the sun is for a while. I couldn't decide if the sun vector was just the direction of the sunlight, of if it had to do with the location relative to some coordinate on the map. Any ideas deej?

Yes, the sun vector is the direction of the sun light. Because the skybox moves with the camera, the vector also is the direction of the sun relative to the camera (in the opposite direction though).

It does?

If the sun is relative to the camera, wouldn't the shadows on the jump sides change with the direction you approach them? You are confusing me more than I already was :P

It does?
Think of the skybox as a shadeless box which is always centred around the camera, and it doesn't rotate.

This should make more sense with my above answer

Welp, here you go. Give this a try.

I'm not going to say that the output will be 100% correct, as I haven't tested it since I'm away from the computer with MXS on it. You have some sliders and things to play with though! ;)

Also, it doesn't write the skybox info, so make sure you save that in a backup file to copy in once you create the new lighting values. Let me know if it works!
