supposably one larger objects broken into smaller pieces is better. so I'd think that multiple ramps placed side by side is better than one giant ramp. that's the objective for that track, if you crash once, your game freezes. the ultimate challenge.

thanks for the tuto david, i have a question.
the model needs to be scaled at the right size, or you can reescale it later?
how smooth a curved surface should be?

i´ll get crackin on some objects :)

converting to mesh from curves makes it really smooth. i'd use that as a base for the collision plane. from there remove doubles with a threshold of, say, .75, and use that as a base for a model.

After riding the ramps several times, I think that they need to be at least twice as wide as they are now. They just feel way to narrow to me.

4ft wide, standard fmx. I/we usually place 2 or 3 wide though. Also, servatis worked with me today and now we have a version of my app that you all can use, might fine tune it a tad to offer a bit more features, but it does the same thing that mine does. I'll release it sometime tomorrow so you all can start making detailed collision for objects.
