Yeah, they are all on screen. I'll have to figure out the rest of the track path, it's down to two possibilities and room is the deciding factor. That is a pretty good tip, I never would have thought of that. So should I just start doing the rest of the track like that from this point then? Thanks for the input :).

i would do this track like that, and all future tracks you do as well. it's the fastest, easiest, and best way to make tracks hands down.

Do you mean restart it or finish it that way?

i would finish it this way, if you know the heights you want for your sections and what jumps you want where, that's the hard part already done.

Adding a bit to DDMX's tip, I like to leave myself a good 5 or so feet outside the track path when I make my selection of what to keep. You can always erase it later, and I use this area to blend into the new base a lot. Also, a great tip to how blend stuff up is to use the smudge tool with a soft brush low opacity and with your track path layer selected, drag outwards over your new base. This will help the blending a lot was well.

Remember, everything doesn't have to match up perfect either, it's okay that some sections are biult up slightly and some are dug in. Jump lips should normally sit even with or above the edge terrain though!

id say try some different brushes to mix it up or even just screw around with the free lasso tool, some blurring, some clipping masks, and maybe a few others...

I wouldnt have that dark border. When you place the decals, you will have that dark line between each placement

What I've found with decals is that what looks awesome in photoshop, may look horrible in game. It's all about how it looks repeated. Looks like a good start though.

I tend to reverse the direction of the decals every few placements to make it look less repeated. It'd be pretty cool if there was a decal placement option that reverses or flips the image randomly in flow, so it doesnt look repeated
