Re: 2011 National Series
How come, no time, or just lack of interest.
Do you have any type of disp map, I could maybe try to get a start at it, Im not very track experienced but That is just a sick track to leave hanging.

never got that far, i have some reasons. if you choose to build it, i'd love to beta it and provide feedback, but i won't be building it.motoxjeff#7 wrote:How come, no time, or just lack of interest.

A sample of the resolution.

Low-res but it might be useful for reference and the shadingx2...

Sorry for double...
I just realized I forgot to mention where I found it.
Here it is http://seamless.usgs.gov/website/seamless/viewer.htm, just find the location and uncheck everything but NAIP under Orthoimagery.

Re: 2011 National Series
So I've taken Voutare and Checkerz off the list...
Also, yFMX, any word on high point? End up not having time for it?
Also, if anyone has anything for these tracks that they wouldn't mind me trying to work on a bit, feel free to send them over and I'll see what I can do with them, but you are releasing the rights to me by doing so, I'll list you with the credits, but I'll most likely be working on them with a host of people helping me with various things just a fyi.

Sween, I'll give you a heads up saying chances are It's not going to get done, but there's a 5% chance I might change my mind. We'll see.

Re: 2011 National Series
Sweenbaby were you going to do the test race this week with 40 riders with no models or gear?

Re: 2011 National Series
disp is done. I need to do some new decals for it. I'd need someone to make a "amateur race" version of the track objects. There's a lot less banners and stuff so it would be better for online races.Sweendoggy wrote:Also, yFMX, any word on high point? End up not having time for it?

Re: 2011 National Series
I'm going to try a few different things. I'm going to be playing around with my settings and stuff starting around 5, if there is enough people, and make my best judgement call on it. I'm going to try with all my stuff, with all my stuff and graphics down, with only stock models/gear, and just see what the significance is. If it BARELY runs with all stock stuff, I'll probably lower the entries, but if it is Money with stock stuff, then 40 riders it is, and hopefully we have 40 guys who can handle it! But yea, between 5-6 i'll be checking all that stuff out, My preliminary guess is we will go with around 20-30 riders, BUT I really really really would like to see 40 man gates, as it would be epic, so thats what I'll be striving for. Also, Wheels (not to put you on the spot) has been workin on some sweet LOD's and what not that may come in handy for this seriesMikey wrote:Sweenbaby were you going to do the test race this week with 40 riders with no models or gear?

Anywho, yea the race will hopefully be fun, but really I view it as a test, and to iron out the details, format, and bugs before the actual series starts. I'll also do another 1-2 races after SX ends, and before MX starts. I may even not race thursday, just so I can focus on getting everything good first.
