Issues Saving Out SEQ/ Replacing PNG's within

Post by Trevdawg197 »

This might be a weird issue to have, but any time I try to save and replace a PNG in my SEQ file, or even just change the info in notepad to use a new PNG; I reopen the game and my SEQ file doesn't seem to work anymore (object becomes invisible). I HAVE to use the original images for some weird reason. IDK if it a size thing, if a PNG used for a SEQ file has to be under a certain sizing but. I just can't seem to get it to work if I want to replace my images.

Example: trying to save out screens for a jumbotron, replacing an old screen that originally worked in game, no longer works post replacement.
(File names remain unchanged).

If this makes no sense, trust me, it doesn't to me either.

I have had issues when the png is over a certain MB. I could be wrong on this, but I believe they have saved a specific way as well. instead of (ctrl+alt+s) i have to go to (file, export, export as, export) or (alt+shift+ctrl+w) in photoshop to save my png. If I do not do it that way it does not work for me.

Does it say anything about a mismatch when loading it?

Remember having more or less the same issue back in the days and saw that my alpha png wasn't the same size.
Also, as Jakob Hubbard told me, you have to have at least 1 pixel empty, otherwise it didn't show
